Fleet Services

Fleet PhotoOur customer is focused on reducing operating costs over the lives of its ships while maintaining combat readiness. We are growing our fleet support offerings and expanding our geographic reach to support our customer's needs. Our goal is to be the high quality, cost effective provider for Navy and commercial repair and fleet support.

Capabilities

Our portfolio of fleet service offerings includes both subsidiaries and in-house capabilities. Collectively, we maintain and overhaul a wide range of U.S. Navy nuclear and conventionally-powered ships including aircraft carriers, surface ships, and submarines as well as a variety of commercial ships. We also provide technical and life cycle logistics services.

Carrier Fleet Support

Wherever nuclear powered aircraft carriers are maintained - Newport News, Norfolk VA, San Diego CA, or Bremerton WA - we have a presence. At each of these locations we tailor our involvement to maximize the value that our nuclear based skills and program management talent add to any maintenance period while simultaneously gaining cost efficiency through the appropriate use of on-site teaming partners and/or subsidiaries. Whether a carrier is undergoing a repair at our facility in Hampton Roads, or on the West Coast, Newport News can mix the right talent for the best value to maintain and modernize the nuclear carrier fleet. The Navy has recognized our unique strength by awarding long term contracts for the support of two nuclear aircraft carriers, USS John C. Stennis and USS Enterprise.
