Michael Reagan, eldest son of President Ronald Reagan, joined 2,500 sailors from the aircraft carrier Ronald Reagan (CVN 76) in a ceremony marking the move aboard of the crew October 30. Crew move aboard is a significant milestone for the sailors who will serve aboard the ship. For the first time, the crew will be working, sleeping and eating aboard the carrier.

Northrop Grumman Newport News held an employee luncheon in the hangar bay of the Reagan to recognize the shipbuilders who've worked so hard to get the ship ready for the crew move aboard. Employees were treated to lunch and received t-shirts and buttons.
