Several employees from Northrop Grumman Newport News were interviewed last spring for an episode of the History Channel's series “Modern Marvels.” The episode, called “Shipyards,” will air November 5 and feature Northrop Grumman Newport News as one of the most modern shipyards in the world. The program will examine the history of shipyards and their evolution.

Crane Engineering Supervisor Jennings Spease (pictured right) was one of several Northrop Grumman Newport News employees interviewed by the History Channel.

The program "Modern Marvels" will air on the History Channel Nov. 5 at the following times:

8 p.m. (Mountain)

9 p.m. (Central)

10 p.m. (Pacific and Eastern time zones)
