NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – June 1, 2005 – Northrop Grumman Corporation’s (NYSE: NOC) Newport News sector has promoted Victoria A. Stroud to director of contracts and pricing. Stroud is responsible for departmental administration and budgets, training, policies and procedures, contract closeouts, cross-contract efforts, the contract data management system, export/import compliance controls, as well as special projects. She also will serve as a primary liaison with Northrop Grumman corporate contracts and pricing for contract administration matters. She reports to Tom Johnston, vice president of contracts and pricing at Northrop Grumman Newport News.

With more than 20 years of shipyard experience, Stroud most recently served as acting director of contracts and pricing since last year. She began her career at Newport News in 1982 as a contract analyst and has held a number of progressively responsible positions such as contract administrator, manager of contracts and manager of contracts and pricing. She also has more than 10 years of experience with the U.S. Navy in government procurement.

“Vickie brings a wealth of knowledge to this position,” said Johnston. “Her extensive experience within Northrop Grumman along with her Navy procurement background makes her an integral part of the contracts and pricing team.”

Stroud serves on the corporate contracts and pricing leadership council as well as the corporate joint management council. She has also been a member of the national contract management association since 1983. She has completed numerous business and specialized acquisition and procurement courses, as well as specialized contract-related professional courses and seminars.
