Northrop Grumman Promotes Dwayne
Blake and Eric Wishon
to Directors in Contracts and Pricing
NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – October 23, 2006
– Northrop Grumman Corporation’s (NYSE:NOC)
Newport News sector has announced two director-level appointments
within its Newport News sector. Dwayne Blake has been
promoted to director of contracts and pricing and Eric
Wishon has been promoted to director of carrier and submarine
estimating.
“Dwayne and Eric bring a wealth of
knowledge and expertise to their new roles,” said
Tom Johnston, vice president of contracts and pricing.
“They are key players in the future of our sector.”
As director of contracts and pricing, Blake
will support new submarine construction for the Newport
News sector. He began his career with the sector in 1984
as an associate engineering operations coordinator and
has held a number of positions of increasing responsibility.
Most recently Blake held the position of business manager,
submarine programs.
Blake earned a bachelor’s degree from
Hampton University and a master’s of business administration
from Old Dominion University.
Wishon started at Newport News in 1985 as
a summer employee while in college. Upon graduating, he
began his career as an associate contracts analyst. Most
recently Wishon served as manager, cost engineering. In
his new position, Wishon will be responsible for new construction
estimating, overhaul estimating, functional training and
development and estimating resource allocation.
Wishon holds a bachelor’s degree in
economics from Christopher Newport University and a master’s
of business administration from Old Dominion University.
