Northrop Grumman Appoints Dale Baugh to Director in the Technology Development and Fleet Support Program
NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – May 16, 2007 – Northrop Grumman Corporation’s (NYSE: NOC) Newport News sector has appointed Dale Baugh to the position of director of aircraft carrier life cycle support programs. He reports to Irwin F. Edenzon, vice president of technology development and fleet support at Northrop Grumman Newport News. His responsibilities include supporting the Gerald R. Ford-class aircraft carrier program by meeting life cycle support, customer and company objectives. He will also ensure that CVN 21 Class life cycle support initiatives align with current in-service carrier maintenance plans. “As we continue our role in the carrier fleet support program and expand our involvement with the Gerald R. Ford program, Dale will play a key role on our team,” said Edenzon. “His experience in the Navy and other Navy yards will also help us align our processes with other key maintenance providers.” Prior to joining Newport News, Baugh held the position of senior director, Navy programs for Todd Pacific Shipyards, where he was responsible for Navy contract execution. He is a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy and the Navy Postgraduate School and has held positions of increasing responsibility for Navy ship maintenance programs. He retired from the Navy after 32 years of service, culminating as director of fleet maintenance for the U.S. Atlantic Fleet. He also commanded Puget Sound Naval Shipyard.
